Brisa's 5th Birthday and A First Experience for Kody

Well, Brisa finally celebrated her 5th Birthday. Now, I say finally because she has been asking for her birthday for a LONG time. We had her birthday in Dallas, Texas with all of her cousins. We had a pool party first, I don't have those pictures because my brother is being a jerk and he refuses to give me those pictures. I guess I will have to steal them from him the next time I go visit him. We had a Barbie ballerina themed party, although the pinata ended up being Ariel from the Little Mermaid. It's funny how children don't like to match things up. Well, here are a few pictures of the party.

Brisa had two birthday cakes, we created a Barbie cake and a regular cake because we thought that we could make her take a bite out of one of them but she did not want to.

Kody got her by rubbing cake frosting on her face... she did not like that very much.

In the end, all the kids played with the play dough. Looks like Arianna really likes the camera, she is a natural model.

And a first for Kody. We went to the beach again this last weekend, we noticed that there were some jelly fish but they did not have tentacles and they did not sting, because Kody stepped on one and realized that they didn't sting. So we decided that it would be alright to go into the ocean since everyone else was. But, as anyone who knows Kody, his luck ran out as we were knee length in the water. YES... Kody got stung by a jellyfish. Here is a picture of the jellyfish that stung him. We know which jellyfish it was because when we got back to the shore, we noticed that there were a couple of jellyfish with foot long tentacles. Poor Kody, the tentacles wrapped around both of his ancles. He described it as "being shot with a hundred needles."
