Strawberry Pickin'

Today we went to Froberg Farms in Alvin, Texas. This is a vegetable and fruit farm that lets people come and pick their own strawberries. The grounds were beautiful and the people there were very friendly. Here is a video that Kody shot of the farms.

There were a lot of rows of fresh strawberries. The farm was packed today because the news showcased them that week and several radio stations talked about them too.

Brisa had fun searching for the red strawberries, which was not hard because there were a lot of them.

She had her own bucket and mommy and daddy shared a bucket together.
Ayva followed along in her stroller. She enjoyed being outside and looking around. She is strutting new clothes, isn't she cute?

We filled two buckets full of strawberries, this one is my bucket. (below)
And this one is Brisa's bucket. (right)

Brisa was very proud of her full bucket. She actually wants to eat these strawberries. For those of you who don't know, Brisa has always said that she does not like strawberries. We'll see what happens tonight when we make strawberry shortcake.

I just had to put this picture of Ayva in her new clothes. She is now wearing pants instead of pajama onesies.
