Zeida Brinley Allred is here!!
We are now a family of 6. We have 3 kids under 3! What were we thinking? Zeida made us wait until our scheduled c-section. Fina tried to get her to come early, but Zeida refused. We woke up bright and early on June 3rd. We had to be at the hospital at 5:30am for out 7:30 scheduled repeat c-section. As you can see Fina was ready to go. Here we are outside of the operating room waiting to be wheeled in.
Zeida came out screaming 30 minutes later. She made sure we knew that her lungs were well developed.
Everything went nicely. We had our little girl with us and we were so happy. Her sisters were also very happy to see her.
Naiya was also very happy. She continues to try and poke her face. She's currently learning about the eyes, nose, and mouth so she keeps trying to poke Zeida. Grandma was also very happy to have finally made it before I gave birth.
Here is a proud daddy with his little girl.
It has been very hectic at home with 2 little ones and a newborn. Both Ayva and Naiya fight over who gets to hold baby Zeida. They sit next to each other and wait to "hold" their little sister.

10 year anniversary!
On June 7th Kody and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Poor Kody already had huge plans for our anniversary but he had to cancel them when we found out that we were expecting. We will have to celebrate this huge milestone another time. We have had an amazing time together and we both look forward to the next 10 years together.
Master's Graduation!
I would also like to mention that my lovely husband graduated with his Master's degree in Cross Cultural Studies and Analysis in December of 2012. He is currently working as a professor at Strayer University. I am so proud of him and all the work he's done.
